The bungalow has kept its traditional charm after being renovated as a resort. It's set among a plantation near the river, and would suit a group outing or an overnight stay. Breakfast was included in our package, but it was just ordinary.
Food was good and reasonably priced, and the resort is near the river. But I wouldn't recommend staying here with family. Room service was really bad, there were lots of insects, and I couldn't switch off the lights at night. We had a sleepless night, and the room didn't even have a lock. The price is quite high. It seems more suited to bachelors who want to drink with friends.
There was no private pool. The shared pool was small and a three-minute walk away, and the place gets pretty boring unless you bring activities. Also, only one room has AC. It can work well for a large group, though. We booked all four rooms for 24 people, including kids, and made do with five large double beds and two single beds. If you need extra beds, ask before you arrive.
There are permanent stray dogs in the compound, and they were scary. Management didn't seem bothered about keeping them away when we asked. There were no lights along the way, no self-service coffee makers, and we couldn't even get drinking water at night. I wouldn't recommend it for a family unless you're booking the entire five-room villa.
I stayed at this resort on 30 the sep and it was awful. The linen, bathroom, and room stank, the approach was very bad, and the rooms were horrible. The food was not proper. I had no choice because I arrived at 9 pm, then left early in the morning. Don't be taken in by the website pictures. God bless you.
