Yantra Ayurvedic Resort

The staff were helpful when needed, and dinner was great. The breakfast buffet was okay, though nothing special, and dinner orders had to be placed by 5 pm. The pool was also okay, but poorly maintained, with cloudy water and a slight layer of water bloom, or payal, on top. The sea view isn’t actually visible from the room or resort grounds. They have a separate piece of land in front with a few huts and chairs for enjoying the view. We wanted a photoshoot on the property after booking, but were quoted an exorbitant fee, the kind usually charged to wedding parties. As for the room, the Kerala cottage was okay, but the fan didn’t work until we swung it by hand, and the AC stayed at one temperature no matter how we adjusted it. There was no dustbin or tea or coffee powder when we checked in. At night we found a centipede in the bathroom and a dead cockroach in the room. There was no phone to call reception, and they hadn’t given us a mobile number either. It was an average stay, more like a 2-star hotel than the resort we expected. If you go in thinking of it as a 2-star hotel, it may be fine, but expecting resort standards will leave you disappointed.

The staff were warm and welcoming, the rooms felt luxurious, and the facilities were top-notch. I especially enjoyed the pool, fitness center, and spa. The food was delicious and the views were stunning too. I absolutely loved my stay at Resort and highly recommend it for a relaxing, memorable getaway.

The spa was the best part for me, so good and relaxing. The Ayurvedic therapies were expertly done and left me feeling refreshed. The ambience was nice, the food outstanding, and the property comfortable, with friendly people around. We made the right choice and had a great stay 🤗☺️. A place worth visiting.

The pool was a favorite with everyone, and it was easy to get to the beach. The resort has traditional Kerala charm, with lush greenery, swaying trees, birdsong, ocean waves, and a cool breeze all around. Breakfast was included and simple but satisfying. Our family gathering of 24 at Yantra Resort felt private, peaceful, and joyful. The whole stay was memorable, thanks to the warm hospitality and excellent service. The staff were friendly and attentive, and made sure we had what we needed. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a serene getaway surrounded by nature.
