GEH Silver Storm Resort Athirappilly

We were six people and booked two executive rooms. They were neat, clean, and well maintained, and check-in went smoothly. The resort is beside the amusement park and snow park, and as guests we got 15% off. The staff kindly showed us where to enter both parks. Dinner from the menu was yummy, veg and non-veg, and the complimentary breakfast was good too. We had a good experience overall.

It's about 10 kms from athirampally falls, and the spacious rooms were neat, clean, and well maintained. Check-in had no wait, and reception and service were good. The resort restaurant made tasty food, which you can have in the downstairs cafe or order to your room. There's also a discount on the amusement park entry ticket.

The front desk lady was courteous and supportive, and check-in and check-out were smooth. We only stayed one night, though, and since we weren't planning to visit the water park, the stay felt average. The rooms were decent but seemed overpriced for what was provided, at 5K per night. It felt like a service apartment, with dinner brought to the room because the restaurant was too small for all the guests. Breakfast choices were limited, and it had to be pre-ordered for room service at a set time. The bathroom was quite small, the AC kept switching off, and the broken water bottles in the room didn't feel safe to use. Those are basic things that should be fixed.

A relaxing atmosphere made this a good place for a getaway. The resort was very clean, and the friendly, attentive staff provided top notch service. Had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it.
