For this price, it's a very good hotel. I paid 1050 rupees for a non-AC room, and the TV had almost all the channels, which impressed me.

Compared with the other, more expensive lodges in the area, this one suits the average room standards I'd expect for Rs.1000 to 1500. The rooms and beds are kept neat, and the service is great. It's 2kms from the Pudukkottai bus stand. They included drinking water, bath towels, soap, and shampoo. There isn't a lift, but I don't need one. If you do, you'll want to look at other options. I plan to stay here whenever I return.

The staff are courteous and helpful, the prices are reasonable, and you get water, soap, and a towel each day. Other toiletries are available in sachets, with stock kept on hand. The AC room was clean and comfortable. A restaurant isn't attached, but there are cafes and restaurants next door, and I even got coffee at 5am. The hotel is a great place to stay, though you should reserve ahead. Walk-ins might only get a non-AC room. It's within 3 Kms of the railway station and right next to the bus stand. A Rs 5 bus ticket takes you from the station to the bus stand, then it's a minute's walk to the hotel. There's open car parking outside, across from the local court.

Clean, affordable lodge, and the service was good. The manager was friendly, and the rooms were assigned when we arrived, with no advance booking. We booked four rooms for 27, 28, and 29 Aug 2022. The room size, AC, and hot water were especially good. It would be helpful if they considered taking reservations ahead of time.
