Amour Resort and Spa

The food was excellent, with lots of delicious options, and everything was served on time with care. The rooms were spacious, neat, and well maintained, giving our family a peaceful, luxurious place to unwind. Laxman and his whole team were humble, proactive, and always ready to help with a smile. Their attention to guests made the stay especially memorable. Amour Resort & Spa was comfortable and very well managed. We’d recommend it to families looking for a relaxing getaway, and hope to return soon.

The staff were very warm, polite, and friendly, and the views were lovely even in the off season. The calm surroundings, gazebo, and bonfire made for a serene night. But we had several problems with the booking and facilities. We booked through leestays and weren’t told there would be extra GST on top of the agreed price. At reception, we were told to pay cash to keep that amount, or pay 2k extra in GST. We’d also paid extra to book the gazeebo for a candle light dinner and were told dinner would be included there. But the menu we received was from the Ala Carte menu, and we were asked to pay for it. I didn’t pay in the end because nobody had told me about the Ala Carte menu. We were told during booking that evening boating would be within walking distance, but staff said it was around 20KMs away once we arrived. The pool lights weren’t working, so we couldn’t enjoy the pool. Everything else was good except the reception.

The food menu could be better, especially for variety and quality. Still, it’s a great spot for a quick break with family or friends, and I’d recommend the property. It was quiet and peaceful, surrounded by nature. I stayed in the presidential suite, which was extremely well kept, and the other villas looked very spacious too. Staff were kind and helpful, ready to accommodate requests. Laxman was our go-to manager and seemed to make everything possible.

There were lots of reasonably priced food choices, and the quality was excellent, which is unusual these days at resorts charging high prices. The spacious, clean, well-kept rooms and private pool added a nice touch of comfort and luxury. Amour Resort and Spa was a wonderful choice for our family. It’s especially kid-friendly and makes a great place for an enjoyable, relaxing getaway. Laxman and his team were humble, proactive, and always willing to go the extra mile. Highly recommended for families.
