Bloom Hotel - Koregaon Park

Aaryan at reception made us feel welcome right away. He was polite, professional, and patient in helping us with what we needed, and check-in went smoothly. Hotel Bloom was clean, well kept, and comfortable. The rooms were spacious and neat, with a calming feel. Great service from the courteous staff. I’d recommend staying here and would come back.

The location was the one clear plus: a peaceful area with plenty of expensive cafés and restaurants nearby. I stayed for three days, but the hotel didn’t live up to the hype. Prices online ranged from 3000 to 5500 per night. The staff were good, though I’d avoid Bloom hotels in future. The bathroom layout was awkward. To reach the sink, I had to squeeze past the WC, close the door, and reverse the process on the way out. The mirror was too high to see below the waist, while the sink was about 2.5 feet high, so I had to bend almost 90 degrees to wash my face. It was also tilted by around two inches. The bathroom and wardrobe towel hangers were over 6 feet 3 inches high, so I had to stretch to hang things. The flooring was uneven and damaged at the edges, and the room stool was damaged too. The restaurant felt like it was only there for show, with few choices and very poor food. Breakfast on the first day was exceptionally spicy, and other guests complained too. Even hotels costing around 3000 a night care about the food. For a decent meal or breakfast, go outside. I could hear about 85% of what the guests in the next room were saying. I checked two or three times in case a door or something was open. On the first night, a washing machine kept starting at 3am and making noise until around 4:30am.

I spent one night on a quiet, leafy backstreet, and the check-in staff were especially friendly and helpful to me as a woman travelling alone. They offered me a room, but I felt uneasy because its window wouldn’t lock. They changed it right away to a lovely room on the top floor. In the morning, I woke to birds singing and the sunrise through the trees. A peaceful spot like this is great to find in a big city like Pune.

I liked the green, quiet setting at Bloom Koregaon Park, and even spotted some lovely birds. The hotel and rooms had a nice atmosphere, and my room was spacious with comfortable bedding and useful amenities. Requests through the online portal, such as towels, shaving kits, or coffee, were delivered within minutes. The staff were friendly, breakfast had enough choices, and the hotel menu had good quality food. There are enough dining tables for at least 30 people at once. The only downsides for me were the lack of refrigerators in all the rooms and the absence of Smart TVs.
