Centurion Hotel

We’re very happy with our stay. The atmosphere was calm, the location was nice, and the staff were very cooperative. Kamlesh and Sanjay deserve a special mention for their hospitality. It was lovely staying here, and good to see you again.

The biggest concern from our three-day conference at Hotel Centurion, Shivajinagar, Pune was the food. At lunch on 15th October 2025, our last day, Veg Malai Kofta contained what looked like the previous day’s Gulab Jamun used as a kofta. When I asked about it, staff first wouldn’t answer, and the chef didn’t acknowledge it either. I complained to reception; the manager came, but offered no proper explanation or corrective action. It left us seriously concerned about food hygiene and safety, and about guest trust. The conference facilities were poor too. Wi-Fi was extremely unreliable during sessions, and the AC wasn’t working properly, so the room was uncomfortable. The food in general was below standard, at times worse than roadside food. Our experience was disappointing. Management should address food quality, hygiene, and basic facilities. Until that happens, I wouldn’t recommend the property for meetings or conferences. I hope the feedback is taken seriously so this doesn’t happen again.

The location is good, but almost everything else was awful. The rooms are old, with no new facilities, and the condition didn’t feel appropriate for the price. The bathroom was poor and its door jammed. Central AC made a strange noise that kept me from sleeping well. Room service was horrible, and some staff were rude, though not all of them. They really need better service and staff who treat guests politely.

The breakfast buffet and room service food were just what we expected, and the staff were friendly. We were visiting for the first time with family and enjoyed the stay. The room was cozy and comfortable, with all the basics we needed. I’d requested a smoking room, and Sakshi at reception handled it promptly.
