Fabhotel Royal Palace Inn

We booked FabHotel in Pune for 16th to 19th May 2025, but checked out that same night at around 10:30 PM because the room was dirty, the bathroom unhygienic, the linen stained, and the area felt unsafe. It wasn't as advertised, and we hadn't even stayed a full night. When we asked for our money back, they blamed us for paying less, which was untrue and insulting. No refund, no apology, just accusations and disappointment. If you want a clean, safe, honest place, this isn't it. If surprise horror stories and paying for no service sound appealing, go ahead. P.S. Our refund seems to be on a never-ending vacation, much like the hotel's cleanliness.

The staff were professional, welcoming, and always greeted us with a smile. The hotel is in the city center, with most other areas nearby and well connected. Rooms were clean and a good size, with king beds and fresh sheets. The building was quiet, CCTV made it feel safe, the lift was available, and parking was fine. The only drawback was the weak Wi-Fi signal.

At FabHotel Royal Palace Inn, the staff were arrogant and unhelpful, and the poorly maintained rooms weren't cleaned properly. The TV and Wi-Fi didn't work, which was frustrating while traveling. The food we ordered seemed to come from a cheap hotel and fell below even basic standards. They didn't provide complimentary water. When I asked to buy a bottle, they charged ₹25 instead of the standard ₹20. The hotel disappointed me on every front, and I wouldn't recommend it. There are much better options at the same price.

This really isn't somewhere to stay with family. The lift was switched off the whole time, with staff saying work was in progress, and they charged extra for services that are free at other hotels. The bathrooms were in very bad shape, with leaking taps and problems getting hot and cold water. Neither the Wi-Fi nor the TV worked. It seemed suited only to couples booking by the hour. Don't ever book it.
