New Leaf Hotel

Mr. Melwyn Gomes deserves special thanks for keeping everything running smoothly from beginning to end. During our fireless cooking demonstration and snack service, the hotel team was organized, professional, and ready to help. We really appreciated the outstanding service.

The restaurant service was inattentive even though it was empty, and we ended up serving ourselves while the only waiter walked off. Our naan arrived after a long wait, when he finally told us it couldn’t be made because the machine wasn’t working. The problems started at check-in, where the receptionist was extremely rude. We let that go and went to our room, but checkout was just as bad. We were only 15 minutes late, yet the receptionist kept calling in a rude tone. Even after we’d paid the full bill, she said, “you don’t know what you have taken” and made faces. When we challenged her, the apology felt forced. We had a terrible experience at New Leaf Pune from the moment we arrived. Poor service, rude staff, and no hospitality. The worst hotel experience we’ve had, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

The stay was good, with quick service and good food, and it felt like value for money. The hotel is near the airport, with Pheonix mall close by. The surrounding area is quite buzzing.

I had a good stay and didn’t run into any connectivity problems. The rooms are decent, and their size is about what you’d expect in Pune and Mumbai. Food was good too, though the portions felt too small for the price. The hotel sits a little inside on Symbiosis Road and looks like a society building, so it can be hard to spot and find.
