If you need to stay in the Bhosari, Pune area, The Fern is a solid choice. It’s a reliable chain with a strong focus on hygiene, clean rooms, and excellent service. The main downside is its industrial area location, with few restaurants or shops nearby. Breakfast also falls short of what other hotels offer.

The extra bed in our family room was a so-called “extra mattress” in such awful, unhygienic condition that my mother developed skin allergies after using it. We spent almost an hour fighting for a better mattress, something that should have been provided without asking. The room was also not clean at all. In the photos I posted, the fan looks like it hadn’t been cleaned in a year. For a brand like Fern, that level of neglect was shocking. Breakfast tasted pathetic and had no quality. Staff even told me not to post reviews online, but I won’t stay quiet. People should know before booking, so no one else has to go through what we did at midnight. This was my worst hotel stay so far. I never expected such poor hygiene, service, and maintenance from Fern. Even small roadside hotels keep things much cleaner. Extremely disappointing and absolutely not recommended.
