I stayed a week and checked out today. The room was large and the wifi was very fast, and there were cameras and security throughout the property. The price was low compared with most places in the area, even though they asked for a bit more than the online listing, saying the information there was wrong. The room looked clean, but I kept noticing dust floating around and eventually realized the fan was really dirty, so I stopped using it. They charge extra for things like towels, shampoo, soap and bottled water, which hotels usually include. The lockers had no locks, so they weren’t useful, though it did feel safe because nobody comes in unless you call them. It was okay, neither good nor bad, but could be better.

At check-in I was left completely confused, and the support staff didn’t help. I’d already paid the booking fee and had an email confirming the payment, but the hotel still demanded more money before giving me a room. They told me, “Pay extra if you want a room, otherwise cancel your reservation.” This was my first booking with Oyo and will be my last. I wouldn’t recommend booking and paying online.

The reception staff were rude, and at 11:30 at night they made us pay extra at check-in. They told us to call customer care if we had a problem, but we had no other option and paid. I’m not convinced online platforms do anything to stop hotels like this from scamming people. There’s no lift, and depending on availability you might end up on the second or third floor. The area around the water purifier looks like a dump. Don’t choose this hotel just because the price looks low, since you may have to pay a few hundred more when you arrive. Consider this a negative rating.

The room was on the third floor, and the building had no lift. There was no wifi or TV, the toilet and bathroom were awful, and renovation and painting work was underway, with dust around. I travel often and have never seen a hotel like this. I can’t understand why Oyo recommends such a low-rated place. It was disgusting and doesn’t deserve even one star. Think very carefully before booking, even at 200%. I’d requested early check-in when booking through Oyo, and their consultant confirmed it, mentioning a charge of up to 30% of the booking fee. At the hotel, they wanted Rs 100 per hour and still demanded more than the booking amount, saying they couldn’t give me a room at that price.
