I used to like it when it was the hostel 'garima'. Around November 2025 vidyarthi nilaya took over, and things have gone downhill since then. The management is awful and has anger issues. They scold people for no reason and enforce silly rules, like making us dry clothes on the 7th floor terrace even though we'd used clothing stands for years. Meanwhile, the price keeps going up, so it's definitely not worth it if you're looking for a hostel in 2026. Even after spending all that money, you don't get a decent, human conversation. And when you're trying to study at night, the guards play songs at full volume after 11:30, while their child cries and makes it hard to study in peace.

The room and toilet were very clean, the TV and AC worked well, and the staff were kind and polite. Room service was prompt, and the food from a nearby restaurant was good. The hotel staff member gives you the menu and places the order for you, but the food bill is separate from the room cost and has to be paid in cash. One drawback was the very slow Wi-Fi, which made it hard for us to work. The hotel is tucked into a small lane and hard to spot from the main road. Still, everything else was great, and the stay was good enough that I wouldn't take off a star for the internet.

For 1200 INR, it felt worth the money for Pune and this location. The hotel and rooms were good, and the location is excellent, though it isn't easy to find. Staff were good too, in line with Oyo standards. I can't comment on the food quality. Breakfast has only two or three options, served in the room with tea or coffee.

The food was delicious, the facilities were great, and the rooms were very good. Staff were polite, and the price was reasonable. Finding the area may take a little effort, though the place itself stands out. The shower could use some maintenance, but the stay exceeded my expectations.

The rooms are awkwardly designed, vary in size despite having the same tariff, and weren't very clean. Breakfast came to the room, but it took about an hour and a half to arrive. There's plenty of parking, though the car lift couldn't be accessed. We booked through OYO, and the approach is through a shanty, with traffic blocking the road for much of the day.
