Hotel Arambh

The main counter manager was very rude, and the hospitality was bad. Our room had a broken lock, a nonworking jet spray and bathroom fittings, a TV remote that didn't work, and lots of cockroaches. Check everything carefully before booking. I had a bad experience with aarambh.

We called the hotel at 5 and confirmed our booking. When we got there around midnight, they said the hotel was full and gave us excuses about how we should have arrived earlier. The receptionist seemed heavily drunk and spoke very rudely. Only after we showed our booking details did he arrange a room at another place about 3 km away. It felt as if they gave our booked room to whoever arrived first. The management kept acting like we were at fault, and the whole mess dragged on until 1:30 in the morning. We want our money back. If we had wanted to settle for a different hotel, we could have done that earlier instead of dealing with this. I would give a negative rating if I could. It doesn't even deserve zero.

We had booked through Oyo but hadn't paid because we weren't sure we'd go. At the hotel they asked us to pay, so we did. The first room had no toilet seat cover, and after we asked, they moved us to another one. They don't provide extras like pillows or blankets. The hotel serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food, but I wouldn't recommend it for couples. You'd be better off spending the same amount somewhere else.

We needed somewhere near the Satara highway just for a night, so we booked a room, but there was no drinking water and the bathroom fittings didn't work. Cockroaches were all over the room. Check it carefully before booking. Online booking isn't accepted even though the hotel appears online, so your money could go to waste if you book that way. From what people around the hotel said, it seems to be used for couples booking rooms for just 2-3 hours. This place doesn't deserve even one star.
