Some rooms are very small, so check the room before booking. The front office staff could be friendlier and more polite. On the plus side, checkout is available at any time within 24 hours, which I appreciated. The location is peaceful and within walking distance of the railway station, and the simple complimentary breakfast was tasty.

The hotel was helpful and polite, and felt safe for women and children. It’s easy to get rickshaws from here to Pune sights such as Shaniwar Wada, Dagdusheth Ganpati, and Sarasbaug. The rooms were very clean and neat, including the bathrooms, and had working air conditioning, toiletries, a tea and coffee maker, a bed, and a wardrobe. Room service and hospitality were excellent, as was the complimentary breakfast. Rooms, service, and location all get 5.0.

Think twice before booking. The room condition and service were far below what I expected. Staff responses were slow and unprofessional. If comfort and hygiene matter to you, look at other options.

I spent two nights at Hotel shivam and had a lovely stay. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the hotel staff behaved well. The location was just right for exploring pune.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was especially good. I was satisfied with everything, though I wish the staff had smiled a bit more.
