We were tired after travelling, but they wouldn't let us keep our bags safely while temporarily using one room key. There's no parking either. I booked three rooms at Hotel Punest Hospitality. The entrance is tiny, the reception is on the second floor, and the rooms reach the fourth and fifth floors, with no lift at all. The receptionist wasn't supportive or clear about things. Offline bookings cost almost double the online rate. The rooms were clean but very small, around 150 sq ft, and just about okay for two people for one night. An extra mattress costs an unreasonable amount, so paying a little more for another room seems better. I understand their policy about locals or unmarried couples, but our group of six provided IDs for everyone and was still asked to sign separately for each guest. I'd only stay here in an extreme emergency, and for no more than one night.

The room was clean and comfortable, with a decent bed and amenities, and the staff were friendly and willing to help. The location suited my needs, close to public transport and local attractions. Still, for the price I expected more. The building needs improvement: the stairs were dim, and there's no elevator. Breakfast was very limited, with just one item available during my stay, and they didn't accept credit cards, which was inconvenient. Hotel Punest has potential, and the room comfort and hospitality made up for some of the gaps. I'd consider returning if they address the infrastructure and amenity issues.

We stayed three days and had a great experience. The service was good.

The room itself was just okay, and the bedsheet and towel were clean but had a slight smell. Still, the location is good, with food and other things available outside, and the room had a geyser, AC, and Wi-Fi. Breakfast was free and good quality. The staff were polite and helpful. I arrived at 2 AM, called reception, and they gave me a room. The entrance is small and there's no lift, so you have to carry luggage upstairs, though an employee helped with it when I left.

The lodge's location is perfect, and the room was spotless. It had a cozy feel, with friendly staff who made me feel at home. I had a delightful stay and highly recommend it.
