The good thing is the food. They have their own restaurant and bar. The area feels a lot like Grant Road in Mumbai, busy and a bit congested. It’s very close to Dagdusheth Ganpati Temple and the main market, which is handy for visitors. Still, I wouldn’t recommend this lodge to families unless there’s no other option. It feels a bit shady and more like a basic lodge than a proper hotel. I think it’s overrated on most booking portals. If you have better options, consider those.

For the price, the stay was comfortable. The rooms were clean, hygiene was maintained, and the staff were decent. Hotel Tiranga Residency is a reasonable budget option if you know what the location is like. It’s surrounded by a prostitute/red-light area, so families should be cautious before booking. For solo travellers, it shouldn’t be a major issue.

Nice room, good food, and a good location. All the staff showed very nice hospitality. Padam ji especially helped me with everything.

The rest of the staff were good, but one man at reception was very rude. At checkout they wouldn’t spare even a minute to let you pack your stuff. I wouldn’t recommend staying there, especially if you’re a girl.

The AC double-bed rooms are really spacious and have all the facilities. Service is only okayish. There’s no hot water facility, since they use solar panels instead of geysers.
