Treebo Serenity Inn, Koregaon Park

The hotel is handy for getting around, with good restaurants and other places close enough to walk to. That was the one clear plus. We paid about ₹4,200 a night for our stay from 24th Jan to 26th Jan, 2026, and it didn’t feel worth that price. Breakfast was a letdown: the Sabudana Vada had no salt, and the Poha and Potato Paratha were just as bland. We asked for toast and butter, but the staff were using the same utensils as for eggs. Since we’re strict vegetarians, we had to turn it down. The kitchen also didn’t have a microwave to reheat food, which was surprising for a hotel this size. Our room was clean when we arrived, but there were mosquitoes, and we couldn’t get hot water for bathing. Staff said the geyser had been switched on, but it clearly wasn’t working. During our two days there, nobody came to clean the room or change the bedsheets, and no one asked whether we wanted housekeeping. For the rate, the basic facilities, upkeep, and food all need a lot of improvement.

Breakfast was simple, but what they served was fresh and tasty. The hotel is in Koregaon Park, around 100 meters from the main road, with a pleasant neighborhood and easy access to popular spots and the rest of Pune. We came on New Year’s Eve 2026, when holiday prices were very high, and this was the only place we could find in our budget. The room was comfortable and clean, with a good bed, fresh linens, and useful basics like a TV, electric kettle, complimentary water, tea and coffee supplies, and seating. Room service was quick, and the staff were polite and accommodating. They brought us an iron and bathroom slippers when we asked. Our first room didn’t have a bathroom exhaust fan, so we requested a change and were moved to another room the next day. We were told only one corner room lacks the fan. If you want somewhere clean and comfortable in a convenient spot, this place should work well.

The room was spacious, though one section wasn’t clean when we were given it. Hot water was a problem too, and we had to ask for buckets of it. Parking is shared with several nearby businesses, so finding a spot right away during the day can be difficult. There are eateries within walking distance, which makes the location convenient. Breakfast was served on the terrace with very few choices. I did like the coffee.

I arrived early and was able to check in without any hassle for a reasonable ₹500 fee. The staff were welcoming, and service was quick. The location was also excellent and convenient. The room linens and breakfast area could have been cleaner. Still, it’s a good option for solo travellers who care about location and prompt service.
