Asian Inn Beach Resort

We booked four rooms for three nights in November 2025, and had a great family stay. Newly renovated Asian INN is on New Marine Drive Road, close to the beach. Rooms were clean and well appointed, with good sea views. The newly installed bathroom fittings were a nice touch. The in house restaurant is a must try, with tasty food at competitive prices. All the staff were courteous and helpful. Mr Narasimha Acharya deserves a special mention for taking care of our needs and requests, and security person Mr Pandey was helpful too. We'll surely visit again.

The location is the best, and all the amenities provided were good. The food from the Ala Carte menu was very tasty, with reasonable portions and pricing, but the buffet breakfast was below average. We stayed for 02 days with family. One service issue, the room boys came into the room without permission.

We paid extra for a sea facing room, but the room we got didn't face the sea. It looked decent at first, but the view was crappy, and I think the extra price was for the view and bathtub. The tub wasn't much use for a hot bath since hot water only ran for a few minutes before turning cold. The breakfast buffet was disgusting, extremely oily and unhealthy. The orange juice was artificial and heavily diluted with water. Chole bature was below average and soaked in oil, and the other items were bad and inedible too. We felt unwell after the first day's breakfast and skipped it the next day. Staff were unhelpful and unfriendly. It wasn't value for money at all. There are several similarly priced hotels nearby that actually provide sea views.

The hotel is good, with a good location, clean rooms, good service and good food. Keep it up. Just one thing to keep in mind, they should install an exhaust fan in the bathroom. One ventilator isn't enough, and the smell lingers.
