Hotel Sapphire International

The pool and the hotel's location near the sea beach were highlights for a relaxing vacation. Our room was clean and well kept, and the staff were polite, professional, and helpful. The in-house restaurant served really good food at affordable prices, and the complimentary breakfast had a great variety. I had a wonderful, comfortable stay and would recommend it.

The location made it easy to get to the beach, nearby attractions, and markets, so it worked well for a leisure or family stay. I also found the hotel good value for the price, given its facilities, cleanliness, and service. The rooftop restaurant had a lovely feel in the evening, and the clean pool was inviting. Food at the in-house restaurant tasted great, and the buffet breakfast was well arranged with a good selection and good hygiene. Our room was comfortable and spotless, with housekeeping standards that were easy to notice. The beach view was calming, and being close to the sea made morning walks and sunsets lovely. Staff were attentive and courteous, and the service from check-in through checkout felt smooth and welcoming. A refined, comfortable stay in Puri. I'd recommend it for a relaxing beachside trip.

The room smelled awful and cost at least 3000, which didn't feel worth it. The rooms were old and poorly maintained, with no window or balcony. Sheets were dirty, there were no towels or dental kit, and the toilet had cockroaches. Checkout was at 8 a.m., but the service man started knocking at 7:30 like we were in a hostel. Booking directly through another platform felt like a scam. Come see the room in person before paying.

We were told at booking there'd be an extra bed for our kid, but there wasn't one. The room also had no bedside light. The corridor was poorly kept, with people drying clothes outside, and the mattress was dirty. The sheets and pillow covers were dirty too, though staff changed them after I called. It wasn't a good experience, and the hotel needs to work on these things.
