OYO 16522 Hotel Sidhartha International

For a budget hotel, the place is hygienic and clean throughout, with professional staff who are ready to help. It’s a short walk from the sea beach, and the balcony is a nice place to relax with family or friends. Rooms and toilets are a good size, with basics like AC, LED TV, and geyser. Most rooms also have a sofa and table, plus plenty of storage. There’s a conference hall for 20 to 30 people, a kids’ area with plenty of activities that feels safe, and a decent restaurant that seats 30 at a time. Food is average but offers almost every variety. The AC cools well throughout the property, and parking is ample, with room for at least 15 cars.

The hotel staff and managers are good, service is fine, and the rooms are big and have kettles. There’s a nice children’s playground, but breakfast choices are limited. The main drawback is the location: it’s quite tucked away and about 1 km from the beach. If you happen to get an auto, it costs at least 100rs to reach the main road. The hotel could improve things by arranging a shuttle to the main road. I might have rated it 3.5* if they had one.

The hotel was clean and neat, the food was very good, and the customer service was excellent. It’s a little far from the crowded area, but I think it’s worth staying here for the service. Everyone on staff was very courteous. Special thanks to Biswajit, who went out of his way to help and guide us. He’s an asset to Hotel Siddhartha International, and we had an excellent stay.
