OYO 26496 Hotel Sands Bay

The stairs were covered in garbage and spit, and the lift didn't feel safe. We had booked an AC room and paid ₹1,500 in advance through WhatsApp, but on arrival the manager said none was available and put us on the fourth floor in a dirty non-AC room. I spent the day sweating there. Later, after I gave a cleaner ₹200, he told me about an available AC room, and I moved in that evening. They still charged the full AC room rate and refused any discount. It was a terrible experience for me, and I'm from Bhubaneswar. What must it be like for tourists from other states?

The basement restaurant's food is a standout. Try the chapati and egg curry combo. Rooms are good too, and the price is budget-friendly. You should visit! 🔥🙌

The staff behaved very badly, and the whole hotel felt dirty. There was garbage everywhere, and the entrance didn't look like the photo on Google. The stairs seemed unsafe, with no safety equipment, and every corner was filthy. In the room, there was a spider web on the door and dirty slippers that weren't cleaned. There was no dustbin in the room or bathroom until I asked, and then they brought just one. The pillow cover and sheet smelled bad, and the fan barely had any speed. The balcony was dirty and had no safety equipment either, so it felt dangerous. If you want to save your time and money, don't stay here.
