OYO 28314 Hotel Larica

The food is good, though a little expensive, but still affordable. The rooms, though, are very poor quality. The furniture is full of bugs, the beds aren't comfortable at all, and the bathroom is so dirty that I can't describe it. I'll share pictures and you'll understand when you see them. Even the entrance is disgusting, just ruins. For the price and service, the nightly room charges are way too high. My room's AC also didn't work properly. It made an irritating tickling sound and took much longer than it should to cool the room. At that high price, this hotel is just disgusting. They should either lower the price or improve the rooms. It's not fit to be called a "3-star hotel", not even a 1-star.

The balcony, view, and location are very good, and the rooms are good too. The washroom doors can't be closed from outside, and the TV doesn't work properly. The intercom is connected and answered every time, but sometimes they ignore requests. Food is the best thing about this hotel. They make and serve awesome Bengali food at a very reasonable price, I have to admit. The manager is very helpful, and the staff are good and helpful too, though they sometimes forget or ignore requests. Cleaners ask directly for tips, and after you give one, they never come back to clean.

The rooms feel cramped, especially the bathrooms, which don’t get enough ventilation. The shared spot for washing up after the sea is really dirty, and the outside stairs are both filthy and unsafe. They need to pay more attention to cleanliness overall. On the plus side, the staff were well behaved, the food was tasty, and the location works well, with both the sea and Swargodwar nearby. All the two-bed rooms have a sea view, either from a side balcony or directly.

The location is very good, and every room has a sea view from the side balcony. Cleanliness seems better than it used to be, though the wooden bed base still needs a thorough cleaning. There are some maintenance problems too, including a leaking tap fitting and accessories, and the balcony doors need painting.
