Townhouse Marine Drive Puri Formerly Royal Crown

They advertise a restaurant in the pictures, online ads, and even on the hotel's welcome board, but there isn't a proper one. There's just a seating area, and they order food from somewhere else. The food and the tables were both pathetic, and the tables weren't clean. The rooms had cockroaches and hadn't been cleaned properly. The bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months, and service was pathetic. Avoid this place at all costs.

For what they charged, the service was unacceptable. Room service didn't respond, and calls to the front desk rarely got a proper answer. At check-in things were chaotic, with nobody willing to take responsibility or explain anything clearly. Staff offered little support, communication was extremely poor, and promised basic services weren't delivered. When I asked for help, I was either ignored or met with confusion. I wouldn't recommend staying here until management seriously improves staff coordination and communication.

The one thing the hotel was quick to do proactively was remind me about checkout. The package listed complimentary breakfast, but the team didn't seem to care about it. Rooms were below average, had cockroaches, and weren't maintained despite my repeated requests.

There was no parking, and the hygiene and service were so poor that I'd strongly advise families to stay elsewhere. We booked two rooms for two nights, and both were filthy and infested with cockroaches. Even after several requests and leaving our keys at reception, nobody cleaned them. Towels and toiletries were missing too. There are much better options near the temple.
