The only drawback was the walk in at night. Parking is roadside, and the hotel sits in a small gully about 100-150 meters from the main road, reached by a mud road rather than concrete or tar. The room itself was neat, tidy, and well maintained. For the price, Treebo Hotel offered much better cleanliness and upkeep than many other Puri hotels. Reception and office boy Abhishek were especially welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. They guided us through check-in and check-out, answered room questions and general inquiries, and helped with Jagannath Swami Temple darshan and local sightseeing information. Their support made the stay smooth and stress-free. Room: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Location: 3/5. If you're visiting the temple or spending time near the beach and want a clean, comfortable stay with excellent service, this is a great choice. I'd happily stay at Treebo Hotel, Puri, again and recommend it.

The approach was a muddy, uneven path with no proper road, making the property a nightmare to reach. The stay was overpriced and badly managed, and it felt abandoned. Nothing worked: the AC was non-functional, there was no hot water, and promised basic amenities were missing. There was no proper restaurant or room service, and the staff were unprofessional, unresponsive, and seemed not to care about guests. Our room was dirty, poorly maintained, and smelled terrible. The washroom was filthy and stained, insects were inside the room, and cleanliness standards were zero. Bed linens and towels looked reused and hadn't been washed properly. The online photos and descriptions were completely misleading. This was one of my worst stays, a nightmare that ruined our trip. I'd strongly tell others to avoid it. There are far better options, so save your time, money, and peace of mind.

We had two rooms, and one had a broken window base. The sheets weren't clean either, and I think they reuse them for different guests. When we went out for darshan at Puri Temple, the slack door latch let monkeys enter through the balcony and damage our clothes and belongings. The location is a little tucked away, with a kawadi wala shop at the entrance to the lane and lots of street dogs. It made us feel like we were going into a khopcha of Dharavi, Mumbai, the largest slum of Asia. On the plus side, service was good, the staff were polite and helpful, the rooms and washrooms were clean, and there was a lift and parking.

I picked this place partly because beachside hotels were costly, while this one was economical and just 250 m from the beach. There's a lot of cheating with hotel bookings in puri, so I chose this Treebo chain hotel because I'd had good experiences with Treebo on earlier trips. My stay was very good. The rooms were a decent size with the usual facilities you'd expect from an average hotel: toiletries, towels, hot water, a kettle, tea and coffee pouches, a wardrobe, balcony, spring mattress, AC, TV, lift, and complimentary breakfast. They have two hotels in puri, and the kitchen is at the other one, but they arrange breakfast, lunch, and dinner here. The staff were helpful.
