Hotel Holiday international

Restaurant service was a mess throughout my 4-5 days at Hotel Holiday International. They’d bring starters and main dishes together even after I repeatedly asked them to serve in order. The waiters seemed untrained, except sunita, and often put down plates without checking for glasses, spoons, or cutlery. Asking for a spoon could mean a long wait, as could asking for water. Even a butter tandoori roti took far too long to arrive. The food was poor too. Some dishes tasted bad and were badly prepared, including stale mushroom dishes. Even the poha at breakfast was nearly inedible, and the buffet was repetitive and low quality. The rooms were full of mosquitoes, not just a few. The hotel provided repellents, but that didn’t fix it. I wondered when they last did pest control or fumigation. Nights were so uncomfortable that leaving without dengue or malaria felt like a miracle. I’d think twice before booking an event, function, or engagement here. The management treated guests poorly. During an event, a bald manager rudely insisted everything close by 10:30 PM, which makes little sense for a celebration that may run later. If that restriction applies, they should explain it before accepting booking payments, not once the event has started. Guest service, hospitality, restaurant management, and professionalism were all extremely poor. If you’re considering a stay in Purnia, do your research first. My time there was frustrating and disappointing.

The food tasted awful and had a lot of artificial flavoring. When I complained, staff reacted badly, saying, “That’s how food is served at our hotel.” The service was bad overall, and they didn’t even offer to bring a better replacement order.

The food was very expensive and didn’t live up to the hype. It tasted awful, with lots of artificial flavors, and the staff attitude and food quality were both terrible. Don’t come here if you want good food.

I slept poorly because traffic noise from the busy area was easy to hear even with the windows shut. Light sleepers might want earplugs. Aside from that, I had a comfortable stay at Hotel Holiday International in Purnea: the staff were courteous, the amenities were good, and the cozy, furnished room felt like home. The food was delicious with plenty of choice, and the breakfast buffet had an impressive mix of local and continental options. Fixing the noise could make this a five star experience. I’d still recommend it.
