The peaceful location and on-site parking are big pluses in Pushkar, and the room rate of ₹1400 per night is quite affordable. The food, though, is expensive and only average in taste, so I wouldn’t eat here unless there’s no other choice. There is parking space, but sometimes the owner leaves his vehicle in the middle, which makes it hard for guests to get their cars out. If you need to leave early, talk to the owner or staff ahead of time. Good for a quiet stay, but I’d eat at outside cafes and plan around the parking.

Hotel Mewad Haveli was a highlight of our trip to Pushkar. At the back of the garden, there’s a large swimming pool that was peaceful, private, and beautifully maintained. It was a real gem for a refreshing swim without anyone watching.
