Jungle by sturmfrei Pushkar

The place was peaceful and private, with green surroundings, great cleanliness, and mild music that helped you relax. Bathrooms and toilets were clean and freshened up, and all this came at a great cost. The stay was great, and most of the staff were kind and helpful. One guy who seemed to be the receptionist or manager, though I’m not sure which, was a little rude when speaking. Everyone else deserves ten on ten!

I booked an AC 6 bed dorm through Booking. com at 3 pm, then arrived at 8:30 pm the same day. Nobody had called asking for an advance, and the property hadn’t cancelled the reservation. Still, they refused to check me in, saying no AC dorm was available, even though the property didn’t look full. I only got a cancellation message after I’d left. Central reservations was no help, and the dorm was still listed on OTAs. I hope CEO Pratyush Neog sees this. He’s actively trying to expand and grow the brand and working hard at it, but the reality on the ground is very different because staff aren’t supervised.

The rooftop views of Pushkar were stunning, and the location was peaceful while still being close to the main attractions. I stayed at Jungle by Sturmfrei and had a fantastic time. The clean rooms and friendly, helpful staff made it even better. There was a great vibe in the common area for meeting other travelers. Highly recommend this budget-friendly hostel for a memorable visit!

The shared spaces, from the kitchen to the lounge, were tidy and welcoming, so it was easy to relax or chat with other travelers. Hot water was reliably available, and the bathrooms stayed clean. Both dorms and private rooms were immaculate, with fresh linens and well-sanitized facilities.
