We attended a wedding here. The staff were polite and humble, and the food was good, though the prices felt a little high. Rooms were clean and a moderate size, and the grounds are beautifully planted. This IHCL property is in a peaceful, quiet spot about 4-5 km from the main Pushkar town, roughly a five-minute drive away. A nice place for a weekend break or some relaxation, though the rates are a downside.

We had a great Holi celebration at pratap mahal palace hotel, and the team made my daughter's birthday special too. Front desk manager Mr. Nityanand ji helped us with everything, from the food for our celebration to activities the kids wanted to do. He was a real gentleman and a great asset for Taj. Thanks also to Sadhana ,Arvind ji , Rajesh ji for making sure the service was good, and to everyone for the warm hospitality. The location was great and our room was clean.

For these premium rates, there are much better choices nearby. I've stayed at Ramada there, and Fort Pushkar, and both stood out for their attitude and willingness to help. This place doesn't match the Taj name for me, nor similarly priced or sometimes cheaper options like Ramada, Sarovar portico, and fort pushkar. It wasn't a terrible stay, but management, especially the main resort manager and front desk, need more training and empathy. Housekeeping also seemed poorly trained, and the extra bed charge felt absurd when we'd booked two rooms for four adults and two kids. The restaurant staff, outdoor staff like the watchmen and doormen, and the chef were great. The food was above average, too.

The buffet at dinner and breakfast had plenty of variety and was tasty and nicely presented. Anshul at the restaurant was courteous and made dining enjoyable. Chef Hitesh even shared the pineapple chaat recipe with me, a lovely personal touch. Ali and the front desk team gave us a warm welcome and helped with all our needs during our stay at Pratap Mahal, Taj Ajmer. Their care and attention made us feel looked after. A memorable, comfortable stay with great food and hospitality.

The evening live music was top quality, and the VIP darshan of Pushkar was the highlight of my trip. Pandit Ajay Parashar ji did a great job. I also recommend booking the hotel taxi for safe, comfortable sightseeing, especially after sunset. The grounds being away from the main city was a plus for me, and the food was good. Pratap Mahal is beautiful, with the Aravali hills around it, and my room was spotless and well maintained. Everyone was helpful and went out of their way to make me comfortable, especially Foziya. I don't think I could've had a more comfortable stay in Pushkar.
