You can walk to all the places from this perfect location, and staying with a family made me feel safe and comfortable. They have a temple inside the home, so I could also enjoy the evening prayers. I visited in rainy season, though, and there were mosquitoes in my room. A mosquito net would help.

Their food is amazing, and I’d tell anyone visiting Pushkar to stay at this homestay and make time to try it. If you can, join one of their cooking classes too. You’ll be learning from the best. The family welcomes you so warmly, and the whole visit felt like a once in a lifetime experience.

The owners were the best part for us. They’re so nice and helpful that you feel like you’re staying with family. The house is unusual in a good way, and the rooms have beautiful windows. It’s close to both the lake and the center, and we had a really great time here. We’ll definitely come back. PS: They have two cute cats!

I ended up extending my stay. The rooms are cozy and fairly priced, and the welcome is so warm you arrive as a guest and leave as a friend. Fully recommended!

The room suited me perfectly, with beautiful coloured glass windows, and I could walk to everything from the location. I stayed almost three weeks and can’t wait to return. From sharing chai and getting ideas for things to do, to being invited along with the family, I felt supported throughout my time in Pushkar. Three generations of one family live in this home, and they made me feel like part of it from the moment I arrived. Prem, Indu, Manish, Sanjay, Vinay and family, thankyou for everything. You have a special place in my heart!
