Nova Resort By OYO

We booked for three adults and a child, but got bedding for just two adults. When we asked, we were told to pay extra. We also requested a two-hour checkout extension and were first told it would be free until the next guest arrived, but at checkout they charged us for a full day. The sheets, blanket, and pillow were dirty, and none of the amenities listed in the booking details were provided. When we said we'd raise it with Make My Trip, they threatened to cancel our booking. With nothing else available because of Mahakumbh, we had to accept their terms. Terrible stay, service, and hospitality.

The approach road through the colony is in very bad shape, and the place is quite far from the main road. It sits beside an open field, so there were lots of mosquitoes. They didn't have repellent and gave us an incense stick instead of a mosquito coil. Food prices seemed inflated too, 150 for one Paratha and 70 for Maggi. We had booked and prepaid for two rooms while going to Maha Kumbh, but on arrival the owner or manager offered only one room, with a double bed and a small side bed, even though two rooms were available. He gave the other room to someone else. They complained too that he was asking for more money. He knew it was late and there aren't many options in such a small town, so it felt like he could take advantage. OYO should refund the rent for one room.

Getting to the resort was a challenge because of the road. Inside, the bedsheets and washrooms were dirty, and the bathroom was kind of broken. The most horrible experience ever.

The reception staff were very helpful, and the housekeeping team did a particularly good job with the cleaning. Our whole family was happy with the rooms, and breakfast was tasty with lots of variety. The hotel is very nice. Thank you, clarks team.
