The room was spacious and okay, but nearly everything else made this a horrible stay. There was no hot water or lift, the intercom didn't work despite several complaints, and staff said it was out in most rooms. Room service was pathetic too. They wouldn't allow outside food, so guests were pushed toward their tasteless, unhygienic food, and there wasn't even a proper menu. The hotel is in an isolated, dirty area. I wanted to leave when I saw the location, but I'd already paid online. They also asked how much I had paid online and, if they thought it was too little, refused check-in unless I paid more. I'd never recommend it, even to an enemy. If this were the last hotel in Raipur, I'd rather wait at the railway station.

The bathroom hadn't been cleaned and the bed sheet hadn't been changed before I checked in. They took some time, but did it after I asked. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Raipur railway station and is couple friendly. I booked through MakeMyTrip and had paid in the app, but at check-in they demanded extra money and threatened to cancel the booking. There's no housekeeping or laundry service, and they kept switching off the AC, so I had to call to get it turned on. The TV didn't work, and there was no shower in the bathroom.

Some of the staff were rude, though others were good. The receptionist seemed greedy, and they insisted on an early checkout. It might be worth it below Rs 700, but otherwise it's a waste. Go for Le roi near the railway station instead. This was the worst experience.

Heavy rain caused water to overflow from the balcony because it was jammed, and it spread through the room. That was a terrible experience. I had booked for two days, but after this I wanted to check out. The staff didn't cooperate, and when I asked for a refund, the manager refused. I wouldn't suggest staying here. There are lots of hotels in Raipur, so check the ones on VIP road first, then look elsewhere.
