OYO 24814 Sharda Regency

I had stained sheets and towels, an unclean property, no hot water, and awful service from the staff. If negative ratings were possible, I’d give this place one.

The location felt unsafe, and there seemed to be no taxis or food nearby. Cabs even refused to come to the area. Staff behavior was very poor, and they provided no real service. I booked a room online, but when we arrived, they raised the price and refused to check us in. The food price and quality were hard to make sense of.

This was my third stay, and I loved it. The place feels every bit as good as a business class hotel. The sheets were clean, towels well maintained, and they keep refreshing things. Wi-Fi connectivity was good, and the room had everything working. There’s privacy all around, tasty food, and RO/mineral water. When you have a problem, they’ll move you to another room if one’s available. Reception and staff responded properly. It’s better maintained than a 3 star property. Pandri market is about 1km away, while the station and Ambhuja are around 3-4km away.

The room is clean, and both the interior and housekeeping are good, but the receptionist and staff don’t show good hospitality. They’re connected with OYO but don’t follow all its rules. If you book through OYO, what the hoteliers tell you can be different when you arrive.
