I attended training at TGN. At first, the hall and staff seemed professional, but lunch was a horrible experience. There was no coordinator or food manager, and nobody refilled the buffet pots. The staff seemed about 16-20 years old and completely unsure what to do. Five or six of us waited 35-40 minutes holding our plates, but there still wasn't enough food. They filled the paneer sabzi only a quarter full once, and it ran out again after all the waiting and hassle. If I could, I'd give this hotel a minus rating.

Once guests have checked in and paid, it feels like nobody cares. Room service was slow and staff seemed clueless. There were hygiene problems, including stained sheets, dirt, and hair, and the amenities were damaged, such as a broken door. The place was generally run down, with torn curtains, dusty surfaces, and waterlogging. The reality is drastically different from the online photos, and staff often seemed cold and unhelpful.

There are good restaurants and malls nearby, along with Ram Mandir. The hotel has its own restaurant, and you can order food to your room. I booked through make my trip and had a very good stay in a clean room that seemed new. Staff were well behaved, but the welcome drink included in our booking wasn't provided, something they need to improve. Public transport is about a 300-meter walk if you don't have your own car.

The grand neelam is where my friends and I go whenever we plan a staycation. Rooms are clean, service is good, and the ambience is nice. We even had a bonfire at night.
