OYO RPR269 Hotel Shubham Palace

I arrived at Hotel Shubham Palace at 10 am on 6th February, but the manager refused to give me a room, saying the rent had been set too low. I called customer care, and their attendant spoke with the manager too, but I still wasn’t given a room. I felt humiliated and had a very bad experience. I won’t use your substandard services again, and I’ll urge other people to avoid them too. I’ve also sought legal advice about possible action against OYO and the hotel. Very bad, 0.

The room smelled like a storeroom, was in poor condition, and the AC they charged me for didn’t work. I’d already paid online through OYO, but when I arrived they demanded another payment, saying OYO wouldn’t refund its charge. They charged me double, a total of 1200. I’ve never had such a bad OYO stay. Please don’t book this hotel.

I ended up paying extra rupees just to get a room and avoid more trouble getting justice. This was despite having a prepaid booking. The hotel kept denying that a room was available, even when the local police came. At the police station, I learned this was quite common with OYO rooms. Horrible experience. You’re a bigger liar than political parties.

The room was tiny and dirty, with a stained bedsheet. There was no towel, soap, or working AC. I booked through the Oyo app, but the hotel still took 300 extra. I was travelling alone, and I’d never book here again. Couples, don’t go there.
