Hotel Sitara Grand

The AC worked, and that's the only reason I'm giving one star. The bedsheets and towels were in terrible condition, the door knobs were broken, and the flush was noisy. There's a lot more wrong too.

Nice room, and the staff are really cooperative. I'll keep coming back. Don't trust the fake reviews.

I thought alankar inn in Vijayawada was the worst place on this vacation, but this turned out even worse. I've never seen a hotel this bad in my life. I'd rather sleep in a porta potty than in this room. The view is someone's toilet, the bed frame is filthy, and the bathroom is tiny with no mirror. There was only one chair in the whole room. The closet wouldn't open, then fell over when I tried. The TV had just one channel, the sockets were burned, and there were scratches everywhere. Whatever the owner says, this place is horrible. My dog wouldn't even go in. Stay somewhere else. I don't see how anyone gave it five stars, those reviews are obviously fake. This deserves a zero-star rating.

My first order from SITARA FOOD HOTEL in Rajamundry, at Kumari theatre point, will also be my last. I bought a ₹56 plate of idly to take home to my mother, who has a fever. The idly seemed to have been made two or three days earlier and stored, it was sticky and cold. The coconut pickle was stale and smelled bad. A roadside baddi hotel sells idly for ₹30, made when you order and tasty. The food I got could make someone sick. Please make food with people's health in mind, not just taste. There was no hotel name on the bill, either. About the reply I heard that the two properties are different, Sitara grand and Sitara restaurant: the food service is at Sitara restaurant, not Sitara grand, but they're all SITARA. Please check what went wrong at that hotel. I'm not blaming all of Sitara. I trusted Sitara when I placed the order. So please...
