I’d choose a hilltop view over this. The property feels low end, and the location isn’t especially appealing. Rooms and facilities are very basic. The river is nearby, but gated properties sit between it and the hotel, so it isn’t right at your doorstep. It seems geared toward budget local groups and maybe some backpackers. I’d pass.

It’s quiet and not crowded, so it works for a calm weekend away from busy hill stations. The food is good, home cooked, and healthy. The place has basic amenities and feels homely enough for an overnight stay. During the day, you can visit nearby spots or go hiking and trekking.
