Hotel Royal Silver

I wasn’t expecting much after some disappointing hotel stays in Porbandar over the past few weeks, but by my second day here I’d found a place with real professionalism. The staff are warm and courteous, the rooms are spotless, and the food is delicious. After a week on the road, this finally feels like somewhere worth staying. I may add another day or two.

I spent a fortnight here, and it’s the people who made the stay memorable. Everyone at Fortune Park was warm and professional, and I left feeling emotional about saying goodbye. Vishnu, the head chef, would come check on us himself and try to spoil us with all kinds of delicacies. He was brilliant. Jakin, Anushka, Rita, Sougata Topu were always working hard, serving us promptly and politely, and greeting everyone with big smiles. They’re the engine of the restaurant and a real asset to the hotel. Pritam was always there to help, making things comfortable with his smile and friendly nature. Thank you all for making the trip special. Keep up the great work and keep raising the bar. Good luck.

The shower was magic, with great pressure and the best shower gel, and the white linen and towels were clean. The place was spotless. Food from every cuisine kept surprising me, and management got me what I wanted each day. Breakfast was amazing and dinner was heavenly. I stayed three weeks in room 603, and the staff are the real asset here. Every one of them showed me so much love, put up with my moods, and accepted my sense of humour. They made it feel like home. Minor renovations are due soon, but I’ll be back. God bless you all.

The rooms were very comfortable and came with superior amenities, and the service team was professional and attentive. The location, though, was highly inconvenient and took away from the stay.
