Hotel Ashoka

We booked one night within walking distance of Rameswaram Temple. The rooms were clean, though small, and the toilet was a little run down but clean. Breakfast choices were limited, but what we had was delicious. For dinner, there were North Indian and Chinese options. The North Indian food was amazing, hot, and served quickly.

It's a five-minute walk to the temple, and there's parking plus a room for drivers. They even gave the drivers free food. The room was good apart from having lots of mosquitoes. Wi-Fi and a geyser for hot water were provided. There's a restaurant on the property, but don't expect much: they keep just 2-3 items, and the taste was so-so. I still recommend staying here.

The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms clean, but the rooms are below par, really only enough to shower and rest. I wasn't sure the food would be any good, and it pleasantly surprised me. Probably a better choice than the other restaurants in the area.
