Food took nearly two hours to arrive, and when we brought up problems, staff giggled instead of taking them seriously. The manager was rude and sarcastic, with no professionalism. The washrooms were the dirtiest I've seen, poorly maintained, and the doors didn't even lock. There was no courtesy toward customers at all. A very disappointing stay, and I wouldn't recommend it.

The restaurant food was just manageable, and the utensils used to hold cooked food looked like they were from the 1980s. The hotel's exterior looks good, but the rooms were poor quality and weren't cleaned. The service was horrible. Whenever I refilled my bottle, something was floating in the water; I later found out they filled it from the tap. This so-called star hotel missed expectations in everything except the price. A pathetic experience. I'd have given it 0.5 stars if that option existed.

We were a group of more than 14, and had booked quite a few rooms. Once you check out, according to the manager, you're treated like a refugee if you ask for basic necessities. We even saw staff laugh when guests needed those things, including complementary water bottles. The manager we dealt with was strange and behaved like an actor, and the front desk staff lacked basic guest etiquette. The property's physical condition needs an upgrade too, including the rooms and cafeteria. It sits on the Madurai - Rameswaram highway, close to the temple. Hospitality really shows during peak season, when a busy property needs customer handling and professionalism. I hope the owner, rather than that manager, takes this seriously and sends him back to acting school while teaching the front desk staff how to welcome guests.

The rooms need attention: the glass wasn't washed properly, the beds were in bad condition, and the ladies' restroom was very unhygienic. When we asked if a restroom could be made available for the ladies, the staff were rude. The manager treated a simple request like a threat and put on a strange acting display. This is probably the worst hotel management I've seen; they treat customers like trash. I strongly recommend not checking in. It doesn't deserve even one star.
