OYO 4822 Hotel Pratap Residency

The room was in very poor condition, and even basic amenities were missing. We only stayed one night and somehow got through it. Because it was wedding season, we couldn't find a room in the Lalpur area, so we ended up booking here. We asked several times for towels and an extra blanket. The staff, especially the receptionist, ignored us and kept making excuses when we raised it again at checkout. One of the worst hotels I've stayed in. Avoid booking here.

The place feels dated and needs renovation. My friend Basant recommended it, but the stay was disappointing. At check-in, the manager said sleepers would be provided, yet when I asked for them in the room, staff refused. I paid ₹1900 and wasn't even given a complimentary bottle of water, which seems like a basic thing to provide. The parking area is also very limited. The air conditioning didn't work, and when I told reception, no one responded. That wasn't acceptable.

The food was tasty and service was good. The room itself was nice too, though it didn't match what was shown on MMT when I booked.

Breakfast and lunch took hours to arrive, and the rooms were untidy. The owner, manager, and staff were rude and unhelpful, with service that felt completely unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend staying here. Please avoid it.
