For around 1.5k, I found the rooms really uncomfortable and unhygienic. The bathrooms in particular were in a pathetic state.

At checkout they demanded extra money, giving reasons that made no sense, then threatened us by talking about how many men they had. I noticed them harassing almost everyone, and their behaviour was awful. Don't trust the Google reviews. Thank you π

The way they treated us after check-in was awful, especially if you negotiate over the room rent. This is the worst hotel in Ranchi. Record a video as proof, particularly if you're a student.

Dust was everywhere, and the room was incredibly dirty. The bathroom looked like nobody had cleaned it in weeks. Very poor value for what I paid. Never go.

Getting around is easy from The Hotel New City Palace, right in the city center with transportation available around the clock. The rooms are nicely furnished, the decor is amazing, and there's a coffee shop open 24 hours. Service was first-rate, with polite staff who responded quickly, and the food was delicious. Room service was excellent too.
