The room was dirty and below standard, with poor quality sheets and pillows and cockroaches around. To make matters worse, I was given a different room from the one I had booked, and the night shift manager was rude and completely uncooperative.

People in nearby rooms were arguing loudly through the night, so I couldn't sleep until morning. The room was poorly maintained too: the kettle didn't work, the shower area stayed waterlogged, and there was a used tissue roll. No dental or shaving kit had been left. My window looked straight onto another building's drainage pipe.

After a long trip, our guests arrived to find there were no rooms, despite my advance online booking at Hotel Shivani International, Ranchi being confirmed. No one had warned us, apologized, or made a serious effort to sort things out or find another place to stay. It seemed the hotel was either overbooked or badly organized. A confirmed reservation should mean something. This caused a lot of trouble and felt unprofessional. I expected better from Hotels, and wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone depending on a confirmed booking.

I paid the full amount the same day after booking online, because the hotel advised me that full payment would secure the reservation. Then they told me an event had been booked and cancelled my stay. I’ve contacted them a few times, but still haven’t received a refund. Poor customer service and unethical.
