Pop 89428 Oyo Flagship Moon Light Hotel

If you're new to Ranchi and visiting with family, stay somewhere else. You’d regret spending money here. I heard a rumor that OYO had revoked the flagship, and the actual conditions are bad enough that I wouldn't dismiss the concern. The room was at the back of the building, which wasn't a problem. But it was dark, shabby, poorly serviced, and had constant water issues. Staff ignored problems and put off dealing with the water shortage. The room cleaning was awful: a used condom was behind the bed, pan masala was on the walls, there were handprints, and cigarette ash and blunts sat in a corner. The cupboard wouldn’t close, the toilet Jet Spray was shabby, and the basin tap was poorly positioned, so water ran down the sides. This seems like a room for youngsters who can't find privacy to have sex. That wouldn't be an issue if people cleaned up afterward, but they don't. It’s not suitable for families.

I made the mistake of booking this hotel as a prepaid stay. I don't understand why Oyo keeps places like this on its list. It should be blacklisted immediately. Don't choose this hotel.

The bathrooms were filthy, and the staff were rude and unresponsive. There weren’t any towels or soap, no doormat in the room, and no drinking water either. This is the worst hotel I’ve stayed in so far.

The photos don't match the hotel at all. My experience was very bad: the toilet was dirty and smelled awful.
