Suresh kaka was great, helpful, and served tasty home-cooked food. We had two rooms with a private gallery at konkan wadi. The room we stayed in had a duplex bed and gallery, which the children found fun.

Both washrooms were clean, and there was a coconut tree garden outside the rooms. We booked this 1 BHK villa for one night with nine people, and for the price it was a good deal. It has a hall, kitchen, and bedroom, though the kitchen isn't functional right now. The hall has a sofa and a single bed, plus a sofa-cum-bed near the kitchen passage. There are ACs in both the hall and bedroom. We got dinner from the caretaker, but orders need to be placed at least 2-3 hours ahead. It works well as a family stay for 8-10 people.

The bungalow really suits its name, 'Nivaant', which means tranquil and quiet. We spent a couple of days relaxing there, lounging in the hammocks or sitting on the patio when we didn't feel like going out. Beaches, temples, and forts are also nearby if you want to explore. The cozy bungalow sits beneath a canopy of coconut, bettelnut, and other trees, with greenery all around. The caretaker's homemade food was delicious and absolutely worth having. A lovely place to enjoy a peaceful break with family or friends.

Mandar, thank you for hosting us. We had a really peaceful stay, and the place was lovely and well kept. It's a safe, gated property, with the caretakers living next door and ready to help. Basic amenities were provided, and the atmosphere felt very homely. You can order home-cooked meals from the caretakers. The portions were good, though the food quality could be a little better.
