Bedzzz Rishikesh by Leisure Hotels

I was a little skeptical when I booked, but the location worked out well. It's in the main ghats area, down some small lanes and right beside the hill, with a decent Ganges view from the top-floor cafe. Our room was a decent size and functional; we had a balcony with a passable Ganga view, and the balcony itself was spacious. The food was the highlight. Since we were there on weekdays, Chef Kishan Ji made everything fresh for us, from idly and paratha to tea. It all tasted good. The front desk and other staff were courteous and supportive.

The meals made this stay especially memorable. Kishanji's breakfasts were a real highlight, particularly the chole-puri, and his dal khichdi at dinner was light and full of flavor. Everything felt lovingly made. This was my second visit to Bedzzz, and the staff were warm and efficient both times. They helped arrange scooters for day trips, booked cabs, and answered even my small questions promptly. We booked private rooms this time and were happily upgraded to a Ganga-view room. Bedzzz is on the quieter side of Laxman Jhula, which makes it a perfect getaway for me.

I was happy with the stay on my one-day trip to Rishikesh. Breakfast was the best part, served with a lovely view, and Chef Kishan was a lifesaver. Both the idli sambar and parantha we tried were remarkably delicious. I liked the location, food, and service. Everything was great.

The main drawback is getting there by car. Cars can't go inside, and there's no dedicated parking, so you have to leave the car near Lakshman Jula public parking and walk to the hotel. Still, it's a very good option for budget travellers and backpackers. The rooms and dormitory are very clean, with neat beds and good amenities.
