Hotel Shiva Yog Sthal

We all liked the hotel, and the service and staff were very good. It's beautifully built and in a very good location, with lots of cafes and good restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly and always ready to look after guests. My whole family enjoyed our stay.

Check the location before booking. It's on the opposite side of Tapovan, and getting there took more than 90 minutes after arriving in Rishikesh. The rooms were okay, but there's no parking at the hotel. Paid parking costs Rs.100/- and is far away. I'd say it's worth Rs.1000/- only.

The restaurant on the first floor deserves a special mention. I enjoyed the menu, and the food was delicious, fresh, and extremely clean. The staff are friendly and very focused on their guests. I feel lucky to have found this place two years ago. It's become like a second home, and I've come back every year since, now for the fifth time. The best hotel in Rishikesh!

The staff and owner were especially helpful and kind when we ran into medical and family difficulties. Thanks to Narendra Ji and everyone at Shiva Yog Sthal for such a wonderful experience! I hosted a retreat here and highly recommend it. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and most balconies have a lovely Ganga view. The Yoga Hall is a dream, with a Shiva painting on one wall and Ganga Maa flowing on the other side. Practicing there every morning made us feel so blessed. The restaurant food was amazing, and the cooks and waiters were lovely. When our schedule allowed, we had buffet breakfasts with fresh fruit and juices, pancakes and bread that made us feel at home, plus delicious Indian food.
