We only needed somewhere for one night before leaving for Delhi, and this was a good option at a reasonable rate. The room was good, maintained and repaired, though not fancy. Staff were very polite, and they gave us a complimentary bottle of Ganga water. It’s within walking distance of triveni ghat. We went there for a dip in the holy Ganga and walked back wet to change. The food was good as well. Our morning tea and poha were tasty, though I didn’t get many photos.

My first hotel stay with my family, and I loved it. We booked two Ganga-facing rooms near Triveni ghat. They were clean and tidy, and when my brother asked for an extra quilt, they provided one, which was helpful on our January visit. The bathroom was great, with hot water for bathing, and a dental kit was already in the room. There was coffee ready to brew in the kettle too. You can visit.

The front desk lady was especially lovely, calm, and gentle. I really appreciate her work. The staff were friendly, the food was good, and the rooms had plenty of amenities. Thanks for a good stay. My booking date was 25 January. I’d recommend this hotel.

The restaurant food was good, and the hotel is close to triveni ghat. That’s about it for the positives. The rooms weren’t very clean and smelled strongly, likely because of the old furniture, and there was no WiFi. If you can’t find another option, you could stay here for one day.

The room conditions were a mess throughout our stay at Paradise Hotel. We booked five rooms and changed rooms three times, but each had serious issues. The rooms were damp, bathroom vents had burn marks, wallpaper was peeling, and tiles were falling off the bathroom walls. None of the TVs, refrigerators, or air conditioners worked. Sheets were stained, comforters torn, and dust, cobwebs, and termites covered walls and corners. One window still had a mark from a dead bird that hadn’t been cleaned. In the third room we found human waste in the toilet. The phone lines were disconnected, so we walked to reception for help. Staff told us to “manage” in the rooms we already had instead of moving us. We’d also paid extra to upgrade from basic to “superior rooms,” supposedly with a water view. All we saw was garbage and the rooftop of a toilet area. The upgraded rooms were just as filthy and broken, so the extra cost was a complete waste. Electricity went out several times, including around 5-6 a.m., leaving us without lights, air conditioning, or hot water. No staff were available for over two hours, until about 8:30-9 a.m., because the electrician wasn’t on-site. Power surges blew our power converter, and reception never sent anyone to help despite repeated complaints. The food menu was mostly unavailable, the balconies were filthy, and the carpets by the beds looked so dirty it was as if an animal had been lying there. One pillowcase had what looked like a pubic hair on it. There was even a bird flying inside the cafeteria. To me, it all showed neglect and poor sanitation. This place felt unsafe, unsanitary, and completely mismanaged by the owner. The lack of accountability and maintenance made the unacceptable conditions even worse. It shouldn’t be open to the public. Zero stars. Don’t stay here under any circumstances.
