River Valley Resort

We spent 4 days and 3 nights at River Valley Resort in Rishikesh with our team, and it was a great experience. The resort sits right by the river, with a striking valley view that made the stay feel peaceful and refreshing. We held our team award night there and played games together. The resort staff helped arrange the evening smoothly, which made it memorable. Service was excellent throughout. Manager Dharmendra and his staff were courteous, helpful, and always available when we needed support. I’d highly recommend River Valley Resort for a relaxing, scenic, well-managed stay.

Guests often recommend the resort to friends and family, saying it offers good value for the money. They describe the setting between the mountains and river as amazing, heavenly, or simply lovely, and appreciate its secluded, peaceful feel away from the main city. The riverside spot gives serene views. The staff are often praised as polite, cooperative, prompt, and helpful, with hospitality that makes guests feel well cared for. The food is usually described as simple, tasty, delicious, and satisfying. Visitors also report that rooms and the property are neat, clean, and well maintained. Other conveniences mentioned include a large lawn for activities, parking, and a welcome for guests traveling with pets.

We had a very disappointing stay at River Valley Resort, Rishikesh. The rooms weren’t cleaned properly and basic hygiene seemed neglected. The food was tasteless and not fresh, which was shocking for somewhere that claims to provide quality hospitality. When we complained, management ignored us instead of addressing the problems. The atmosphere felt poorly maintained and unprofessional, and the staff seemed uninterested in helping guests. The service was extremely poor. It wasn’t worth the money, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable or enjoyable stay in Rishikesh. Avoid this place.

I attended a wedding at River Valley Resort and had a very bad time. The location was good, but the management and service were extremely disappointing. During dinner, a staff member treated a female guest disrespectfully, which was shocking and unacceptable. The food was poor, and management handled payment so badly that dinner was stopped midway. The place lacked basic professionalism and isn’t suitable for weddings or family events.
