Food was good, though there weren’t many options, and the hospitality was good too. We did have to keep reminding the caretaker about essentials. The cosy rooms were clean, and the washrooms had hot water, but no exhaust. The tin roof had little soundproofing, and the tent house is built on steel pipe structures. There’s no cross ventilation, though rooms have AC. Power backup and wifi were available, but mobile signals were weak.

With mountains all around and water flowing nearby, the place felt so peaceful, almost like heaven. In the morning there were lots of peacocks and birds. Amazing spot.

The food was horrible, and the staff were very unprofessional. The bedding we were given was eight days old. There’s no sign on the main road to show the location, and access to the property is dangerously placed in the middle of the river. Vehicles have to drive through the riverbed.

There was plenty to keep our child occupied, with a wide range of child-friendly activities. We had booked the room by the river, and its peaceful, refreshing setting was a joy for our son, who loved every minute by the pool. The meals were consistently delicious, and we appreciated the care put into the dining experience. Enjoyment, comfort, and natural beauty made this a perfect family retreat. Our stay was unforgettable.

The food stood out for both its flavor and presentation, with lots of tasty options to choose from. At Elephant brook resort, every staff member was welcoming, friendly, and well trained, and they took care of even the small details professionally. I had an exceptional experience and would highly recommend it for events or a pleasant stay.
