The Mirage Palace

The hotel smelled bad and wasn't clean. The AC in my first room didn't work, and neither did the AC in the second room they gave me. I got through one night on my own. The service was pathetic. I ordered food, but they brought something else and charged a high price. Don't book here, save yourself the trouble.

The room had damp walls and ceiling, stains all over, and didn't seem clean. The geyser wasn't working, so I couldn't get a hot shower. The clothes cupboard was clean, but little else was. The hotel should pay more attention to hygiene and upkeep. There were some good points too. The location in the city center made it easy to get around, and I liked the tasty veg thali, though the rice was too plain. The small deluxe room had the amenities I needed, including toiletries and a shoe shiner. Room service was prompt and courteous, the breakfast buffet offered plenty of healthy options, and there was basement parking and a working lift.

The food was excellent, and the reception staff were friendly, polite, and easy to talk to. The room was beautiful too. One of the best hotels in Rohtak.

I liked the good food at reasonable prices, and breakfast was good, though it could offer more choices for guests from different regions. Service times were acceptable. Rooms are affordable, clean, and have basic amenities, but the bathroom feels large compared with the room. I stayed in a Club room, which was bigger and better than the Deluxe rooms; it also had a geyser and a room heater. There should be more charging points. Staff were cordial but could act more professionally, and check-in and checkout could be smoother. The hotel has good connectivity near Rohtak, though getting to the elevator from reception involves taking the stairs.
